“I recently painted my 30 metre residential fence (approx 60m2) with StudX and I could not be happier with the great service from PaintSales; great product; extremely reasonable product price; and super fast and cheap delivery.

Before I bought StudX I was at a dead end trying to find a fence finish that was actually black (impossible); which didn't cost the earth and would give the coverage and protection I required.

I applied StudX with a spray gun and had no dramas using this method at all. It was easy to dilute and gave a very consistent finish; given that I was a little inconsistent in the amount of water used to dilute from load to load. I didn't experience any spray gun blockages.

I would encourage anyone looking to paint their residential fence black (which is increasingly popular trend) to consider using StudX. Even after buying a spray gun I came out way ahead of where I would have if I'd used a stain or decking oil (which wouldn't have given me the desired colour anyway) and I still have 10L to use in the future for any re-coating needed.”

“I have been looking for a product to paint, preserve and deter wood chewing for a while. I took the chance and bought your product and have found it excellent! “I have been using Kentucky Black for over 5 years now painting the family’s property on average every second year. I use a Graco 5900 Spray unit which speeds up the process but with Kentucky Black I found to clean the machine properly took approximately 3 hrs and about 8 Litres of Mineral Turpentine. The other problem I always had with Kentucky Black was that 6 months after painting the fences would be a dull Grey not the nice black that you painted.

What a surprise to find a water based paint for Horse Fences, so much easier to clean and it certainly appears to soak into the wood a lot more than the old Kentucky black. My cleaning time was down to an hour and 40 litres of water to flush the spray unit clean and just I litre of Turps to prime the lines. I had no blockages during the whole time I painted with StudX compared to the normal 3 or 4 with Kentucky Black. The CribX that is in the StudX is certainly strong enough after some spray mist was blown into my mouth in took about 4 hours to wash the bitter flavour away, I will be certain to keep my face guard down next time spraying instead of admiring how well it was going on.”

“Yes I have had time to paint our Post & Rail Fences. One out the front of our house and an internal Post & Rail fence......they look fantastic!! Love the satin finish and very black look. I sprayed it with an Airless Spraygun that got into all the nooks & crannies. People have asked what we have sprayed it with and told them about StudX. Your service is second to none. Loved your prompt delivery. I must admit though its not good to get it in your mouth as Bruce (my husband) would tell you. The spraygun had a blockage and I pressed the trigger and Bruce coped it in the face and some studX got in his mouth. Well he took off for the tap... He promises me he won't be chewing any of the Post & Rail Fences. LOL”
